Shevils comes to us from Oslo, Norway. You can stream their release that came out in September 2012 below. From what I can tell, it appears they have been together since 2011. I have been digging the Necropolis EP and will make sure to keep an eye out for these guys in the future.
The band’s biography describes their music as:
“Shevils is one of those bands that definitely do not content themselves with pure nostalgia within the hardcore genre. Instead they spice it up with secret ingredients and cook up a deadly mixture of Scandinavian Hardcore and American Hard Rock with everything from Norwegian jazz to whatever neverbeforeheardof indie act as topping.
Shevils is pure sexiness driven by suggestive fast riffs and a singer who thrash up any audience.”
I don’t know if we will get a chance to see them “thrash up any audience” in the states any time soon but once they come through I will be sure to check it out.
